Guest Post with Rhonda L. Print

Hello there, please note the tasters from Rhonda’s stories make this post an over 18 post.

Today I am very pleased to have Liquid Silver Books own radio Starlet Rhonda L. Print as my guest. She has agreed to answer my twenty questions and I think you’ll find her answers very interesting.

Rhonda appeared on the radio edmoneylive.com show 219 very recently. Fabulous! I promised her I’d mention it and offer her thanks again to her radio hosts. Rhonda is also offering readers the chance to win one of her great books!

aaanightwalker-book-cover-2   To enter to win the free e-copy of NIGHTWALKER: A LEAH WOLFE SINS NOVEL, stop by my webpage at www.RhondaLPrint.com, leave a comment with your email address on my Daisy Banks post and I’ll choose one winner at random.

1 How long have you been writing?

Rhonda: First, thanks so much for having me on today! I’d like to give away a free e-copy of NIGHTWALKER to one of your readers today. Read on to find out how to enter. With that said, I’ve been writing seriously since about 2009 when NIGHTWALKER: A LEAH WOLFE SINS NOVEL was born.

2 Do you have a favorite book you have written?

Rhonda:All of them!  NIGHTWALKER, THE ORDER OF CHAOS, JUSTIFIED AND PHOENIX are all part of the Leah Wolfe SINS Novel series and GUARDIAN is a stand alone book. The first is the most exciting but there was one book that I wrote before NIGHTWALKER, tentatively titled FORGET ME NOT, that I have yet to complete.

3 Have you always wanted to write?

Rhonda: As an adult, yes. It was something that I always wanted to try, just to see if I could do it!

4 Are you a plotter or pantster writer?

Rhonda: A little of both, I think. I have a basic story line in mind but often my characters take over.

5 What do you enjoy most about writing?

Rhonda: It’s the ultimate control freaks world. LOL I create the world, the characters and the circumstances. What’s not to love?

6 Do you have a favorite affirmation on writing? Eg., This from Chuck Wendig is one of my favorites. The One No-Fooling Rule Is “write.” Write, write, … write. Write better today than you did yesterday and better tomorrow than you did today. Onward, fair pen monkey, onward. If you’re not a writer, something will stop you — your own doubts, hate from haters, a bad review, poor time management, a hungry raccoon that nibbles off your fingers, whatever. If you’re a writer, you’ll write. And you’ll never stop to look back.

Rhonda: I usually just say, “Butt in seat; fingers on the  keyboard.” It’s the only way to get things done!

7 How do you develop your characters?

Rhonda: Oh a mish mash of life with a healthy sprinkle of fantasy!

8 What is the most exciting time for you in your writing, the new beginning or the completed story? The offer of a contract?

Rhonda: The offer of a contract, I guess. That affirmation that I did good. 🙂

9 If you have experienced rejection as a writer, how did you deal with it?

Rhonda: Constructive criticism – I want to put something out there that readers will enjoy and if I have to tweak – and who doesn’t? – then so be it. It always drives me to keep going, to prove that I can do what someone said I couldn’t.

10 Do you ever write yourself into your stories?

Rhonda: No, not intentionally. But I’ve had a few family and friends tell me that they read my books and say, “Yeah, that definitely something Rhonda would say or do.”

11 Have you ever used a ‘real life’ incident in your writing?

Rhonda:I write paranormal romance so no, not really.

12 What is your favorite way to find inspiration?

Rhonda: I think my kids think its kinda cool that I write and my husband has been my motivator from day one.

13 Who are your favorite authors?

Rhonda: Erma Bombeck, hands down! Not the same genre that I write at all but she wrote a piece on how she began when her last child went to school and it inspired me. I can read her books and feel like she sitting across the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in hand and having a conversation with me. I love that. I want my readers be able to escape the everyday and lose themselves in the world I’ve created for them.

14 Do you feel you are influenced by any particular authors?

Rhonda: Again, Erma Bombeck, for the reasons above.

15 What is the most difficult aspect of writing for you?

Rhonda: Time, mostly. Sometimes getting stuck on a plot and navigating through it.

16 Coffee or Tea?

Rhonda: Coffee, please. No, seriously, I’d love another cup of coffee right now. 🙂  With just a little cream.

17 Early rising lark or night lover owl?

Rhonda: Early riser when I have to be but definitely a night owl by nature.

18 What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?

Rhonda: Spending time with family and friends and reading.

19 Do you think you will still be writing in ten years time?

Rhonda: Absolutely!

20 What question do you wish I’d asked?

Rhonda: Where you can find me. I’m on  LSBooks.com, Amazon, Twitter, Facebook, The Romance Reviews, Coffee Time Romance and many other readers sites but the best place is my web page, www.RhondaLPrint.com

When her godson is kidnapped and the kidnapper offers to trade the boy for Leah, she doesn’t hesitate.

Leah must stop Phoenix, save those he has tampered with, and get back to Ian.

But first, she must save herself.

Excerpt:

Shifting, I trailed my mouth down his neck, teasing his chest and then sliding lower, where I confirmed that Ian was, indeed, naked, hard, and eager for me. Ian lowered his lips to mine and our tongues tangled together. Short, slow licks quickly smoldered into white-hot desire as we made love to each other’s bodies with our lips and tongues.

He pushed me away from him and I released him with a reluctant groan until he flipped me on my back and wrapped my legs around his shoulders. With his eyes fixed on mine, he slid his tongue out and gave me one long, torturing lick. I gasped, and he flashed me that crooked smile of his and did it again.

“I love to watch your eyes glaze over in ecstasy while I devour you, my love,” he crooned before tasting me once again.

I fisted my hands into the silky strands of his hair and lost all sense of sanity as he tormented my body with long, slow swirls of his skillful tongue. When I thought I could take no more, he slipped his tongue inside me and suckled on my center until I could only see white bursts of pleasure through my closed eyelids. My head thrashed from side to side. His pace relaxed and the slower he slid in and out of me, the more intense the pleasure became that shuddered through me until my body burst with rapture and insanity all at once. I screamed his name with my release, but Ian kept his mouth in place, drinking down my pleasure—as if it were the blood he existed upon.

 Blurb:

Leah Wolfe has retired from serious police work in favor of seeking a normal life. Her unique, yet not fully discovered supernatural abilities allow her to speak to the souls of the dead, providing vital information in the search for their killers. Her abilities have also cost her almost everyone she has ever loved including her mother, who abandoned her to fend for herself on the streets, and, most recently, her ex-fiancé Joaquín Wildhorse, Chief Detective of the Native American Reservation Police Department. But when Joaquín’s new lover is found brutally murdered on the reservation, he turns to Leah for help. The hunt for a vicious killer leads Leah to sexy Ian Nightwalker and Leah is unable to walk away from the case that may cost her her most guarded possession of all. Her heart.

Excerpt:

Ian took my hand and led me to a glass-enclosed atrium. Stars glittered above me through the glass ceiling and the desert outside was backdropped by the mountain range. A jetted spa that trickled a waterfall into a large swimming pool illuminated the room. Palm trees surrounded the edge of the spa providing privacy. Wow.

“It’s like an oasis in the desert.” I spoke softly so as not to disturb the natural peace in the room. Like talking in a library.

Ian walked over to a large stone bench and sat down. He pulled his shirt over his head revealing his pale skin and muscles hidden beneath. I silently gasped and felt a wave of desire heat my body. Each muscle flexed and tensed as he moved to kick off his boots then pulled his socks over his feet. As he bent and exposed his back I couldn’t help but admire the breadth of his broad shoulders, my eyes following his spine down to his narrowing back and waist. His wavy black hair fell over his face and I was left with a view of his neck. I had the sudden urge to run my tongue along his exposed neckline to his kissable mouth. I wanted to run my hands over the strong shoulders and let them slowly caress a path down his chest and along the expanse of his stomach tracing the trail of soft, dark hair that led from his naval and disappeared under the denim of his jeans. I wanted to feel his hands fist in my hair as I explored his body.

I shook myself out of the thought.

My face blazed red as I saw Ian’s eyes bored into mine, the look of passion on his face that a man gets when he knows your interested in more than just conversation.

Excerpt:

He turned me around and melted me with a look that skimmed me from the top of my head to the toes of the stiletto heels that I still wore. I started to kick the shoes off but he stopped me. “Leave those on.” His voice grew deeper, sultry.

I did a little spin that would make any runway model proud. He grabbed me and tossed me onto the bed while we laughed. “Yes, definitely keep the shoes on.”

“You owe me.” I reminded him.

He stripped off my jeans and flipped me onto my stomach. He began caressing my neck, my shoulders, then further south; alternating between gentle sweeps of his hands and a firmer kneading motion that sprang Goosebumps from my body. I felt the bra strap come undone before his hands slid to the flimsy piece of elastic of my panties. His fingers trailed them down my legs until he removed them completely. Then those magic fingers began caressing their way up my legs, teasing the tender skin on the back of my knees and inner thighs. I heard the Velcro of my holster tear away and felt the weight of my pistol lift off my waist. “Nightstand.” He murmured knowing that I felt more secure if I knew where my weapons were. Then his mouth blazed molten lava on my thighs and I forgot all about weapons.

Blurb:

Two worlds are about to collide. Claire is going to learn about a past she never knew existed and Roman is about to come out of the shadows and face the woman he has secretly protected for years. With danger all around, will love be enough to save them?

Excerpt:

“I have been sure of many things in my life that were not real, Roman,” she whispered. “I have watched you come into Bookworms for months and wondered what if would feel like to wrap myself around you.” She traced a finger along his jaw. “I want to find out.”

He covered her mouth with his. The kiss was all need and surrender.

Roman shifted and rolled so he hovered above her. She was more stunning than any of the angels he had met through the ages and she was about to become his.

Claire wrapped her hands around his head and pulled his mouth back to hers. His lips roamed over her cheek, her chin, feathering kisses down her neck, each kiss igniting a tiny spark between them. She arched into him for more and he felt her surrender.

He swirled his tongue over the nipple of her breast until she cried out. Roman gave her other breast equal attention before he moved lower, his tongue searing a trail of heat toward her navel.

Roman slid his hand between her thighs and his body throbbed when he found her wet and eager. He slipped one finger in her and watched with a delighted smile when his name escaped her lips on a sigh. He looked into her eyes, glazed over with ecstasy as he gently stroked her. He put his mouth back to her body and slid his tongue around her navel. He withdrew his hand and his body hardened even more when she gave a cry of protest.

He was hard to the point of pain yet he had to have a taste of her, a taste from the pearl that lay between her legs.

He let his mouth trail lower and feasted on her, his tongue dipping and stroking, swirling around the treasure that was now his.
